The problem
WebScrapeX is a Medkon product that is upcoming. It is not available yet. It comes from a problem we see in client work: marketers and researchers regularly need data that sits on web pages, such as lists, prices or contact details, and getting it out means copying and pasting by hand.
Manual copying is slow and easy to get wrong. The other route, writing scraping code, is out of reach for most marketing and research teams.
WebScrapeX is designed for people who need clean data fast and do not want to write code or set up a scraping tool first.
What we built
WebScrapeX is planned as a Chrome extension, built on Manifest V3. This is how it is designed to work:
- Point at what you want: select the data on the page and extract it
- Structured export: send the result to CSV, Excel or Google Sheets
- No code or setup: it is meant to work without scripts or configuration
Running inside the browser means the data is extracted from the page you are already looking at, and exporting to common formats means it drops straight into the tools your team already uses. We build browser tools like this under our Chrome extension development service.
The result
Status: upcoming. WebScrapeX is not available yet, and we have not announced a launch date, pricing or availability.
If you want to be told when there is news, or you have a data-gathering task you would want it to handle, contact us.
Frequently asked questions
Is WebScrapeX live yet?
Not yet. It is upcoming, and no launch date has been announced. Contact us if you want to be told when there is news.
Do I need to code to use it?
No. It is designed so you point at the data you want and extract it, without code or setup.
Where can I export the data?
The planned export formats are CSV, Excel and Google Sheets.
Can you build a custom data extension for my team?
Possibly. A custom Chrome extension is a project we take on, quoted per project after a free discovery call. Whether a site allows scraping depends on its terms, so check those first.
